Assistive Technology: Inclusion, Empowerment, & Independence

NYC parents and caregivers will learn about free assistive technology (AT), the different technologies and tools available, and how it can support and empower learning for students across numerous disabilities. Learn how to request AT evaluations, how the evaluations are done, how caregivers can receive training to help support their children to optimize its use, and tips on how to secure it within your IEP.

Format: 

Zoom group presentation. Participants will have a chance to share comments and questions with your peers via chat and with the presenters via a Q&A feature. At the end of the webinar, presenters will have a Q&A session.
