DESCRIPTION:
INCLUDEnyc presents an interactive workshop for parents who have concerns about their child’s development and/or whose children may have classmates with autism or other developmental delays. Get an overview of basic child development milestones and common parent concerns — including autism, speech delays, and sensory processing disorder. Learn about screening and diagnostic tools, how to navigate Early Intervention and CPSE, OPWDD, and how to build a support system.
Learn more about the services available to children with known or suspected disabilities or delays, and foster a shared sense of triumph and trial among all parents struggling with the emotional roller coaster of parenting young children.
