Many parents and teachers wish that our children and students with ADHD would display more intrinsic motivation for school, especially for tasks or subjects that are required but not personally captivating. In this webinar, we’ll explore what sparks kids’ interest and keeps them motivated, and how to help them get into gear more easily.
In this webinar, you will learn:
- What it means to be motivated, and how parents can get kids to jump in and do the work
- Why some kids seem obsessed with certain activities, and how to shift their attention, energy, and even excitement to schoolwork
- Why some kids aren’t motivated to do anything, and how parents can turn around “intense resistance”
NOTE: ADDitude offers an optional certificate of attendance to webinar participants, but does not offer CEU credits. The cost of the certificate of attendance option is $10. If interested, register for the webinar and you’ll receive instructions after it ends. The certificate link will also be on the webinar replay page after the live webinar.
