A Zoom Panel Event
Whether you are going to college for the first time in the fall or you’re
supporting a first-time college student, there can be obstacles in
navigating classes and identifying learning supports. Join our panel of
professionals and self-advocates for a discussion of getting prepared for
the transition to the higher education setting. This presentation will
focus on key transition topics like changes in disability laws,
self-advocating in the college setting, accessing supports through the
accessibility office, and addressing organization skills throughout this
process. Our panelists will also cover changes in the parent/caregiver role
to consider during this time.
