Incident Management Regulations
The Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), in coordination with the Justice Center, has established regulations and oversight procedures to protect people receiving services from harm. ACA/NY Quality Assurance Department manages incidents to ensure timely and appropriate reporting, documenting, investigation, review and follow up of incidents. Effective incident management is vital to providing quality care for our members and preventing reoccurrence. The links below provide access to resources that will help members and their families/advocates gain more insight into the laws, regulations and procedures of the State Oversight entities who govern these policies.
