Professional Background:

Meggan is a Principal in the New York City Office of Health Management Associates, a national healthcare consulting firm that works directly with providers, payers and policymakers on publicly funded health, behavioral health and human services. She has consulted to Health Homes across the country, including in New York, and provided Interim Leadership to multiple non-profit provider and advocacy organizations. In particular, Meggan has helped providers navigate the evolving landscape of Medicaid and payment reform. She also currently serves as Executive Director of the Coalition of NYS Health Homes and as President of the Board of Venture House.  Meggan served for approximately 10 years in NYC government in a variety of roles, including as a Senior Advisor to five Executive Deputy Commissioners for Mental Hygiene overseeing NYC developmental disability, mental health and substance use services, the early intervention program and other initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Meggan is currently providing interim leadership to ACA and the Senior Leadership Team, managing the implementation of major initiatives to continually improve the quality of care management provided to ACA members.
