What is a Community Networking Event?

The Community Networking Event is a casual, friendly gathering where you can walk around, meet different providers, and learn about services in your region. Each organization has a table you can visit to ask questions and hear about the supports they offer. You can:

  • Talk with providers face‑to‑face
  • Learn about services available now or in the future
  • Meet Care Managers and other families
  • Explore new tools, resources, and programs all in one place

Stay as long as you like and visit the tables that interest you.

Who can attend?

This event is for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), their families and caregivers, Care Managers, and provider agencies from your community. You will meet people from programs such as; home care services, day programs, employment and job support and more!

Why should you come?

These events help you build connections that support your life and goals. Meeting people in person can make it easier to understand what services are out there and who to contact when you need something. Think of it as filling your “back pocket” with helpful names and faces. When something comes up — a new need, a question, or a change — you will already know your options and who to reach out to.
