The KEYS Program’s Music Therapy and Adaptive Lesson Services
Recently, the KEYS Program has joined the LIFEPlan CCO Provider Network. It provides music therapy and adaptive music lessons for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, along with children impacted by cancer and life- threatening illnesses. For over 25 years, they have been on a mission of smiles, providing 1:1 and group music programs that enhance and improve the quality of life of those they serve.
During the COVID19 pandemic, the KEYS Program is providing telehealth music therapy sessions that are engaging and interactive for their clients. The KEYS Program’s music therapists are board certified and licensed to serve individuals throughout New York State. Services are provided for both individuals and at sites-based programs.
“I can’t begin to express how grateful the Arc is for the KEYS Program. When Adrienne is here, the whole building lights up. They love her visits! She accommodates each person’s abilities so they can participate. We have some individuals that often keep to themselves, but when Adrienne comes, they engage the entire time which is so great to see!” – Caitlin DiMascio, Recreation Therapist at the Arc of Madison Cortland
