ACANY celebrates while honoring its best

Over 500 ACANY Care Managers and support staff gathered at Leonard’s Palazzo on Long Island on September 13 to celebrate a successful year at the 2023 All Staff Conference.

CEO Nick Cappoletti addressed the crowd, acknowledging their commitment to hard work since the inception of ACANY. Nick highlighted the Care Managers’ role in focusing on the importance of making the lives of those in the IDD community healthier and happier. A special video followed, sharing the story of two exceptional ACANY Care Managers, Victoire Legerme and Jennifer Poole, who expertly facilitated a transition experience for an ACANY Member.

Carolyn Leary, Senior Vice President of Care Management, followed with the “2023 One Team, One Dream” awards ceremony.  Sixteen Care Management and support staff were given an award for going above and beyond in their job responsibilities or making an extraordinary impact on the life of an ACANY Member.
