PLEASE TAKE 60 SECONDS TO JOIN OUR ONE CLICK CAMPAIGN - PROTECT CARE COORDINATION!
Care Coordination Organizations (CCOs) connect people with IDD and their families to essential community health and human services. Reinstating CCOs in this year’s Human Services Targeted Inflationary Increase (formerly known as COLA) is essential to maintain a stable workforce and protect continuity of care.
For the past 2 years, CCOs have been left out of the Targeted Inflationary Increase, despite facing the same inflationary pressures as other human services providers. Restoring CCO inclusion will help agencies retain experienced care managers and address rising operating costs, so people and families keep getting the support they rely on.
This One Click will send a letter to your local elected officials, urging them to:
- Reinstate CCOs in the Human Services Targeted Inflationary Increase (COLA)
- Modernize Medication Administration – Pass legislation (A.7284/S.6334) to allow trained DSPs to administer routine medications and related tasks in non-facility settings, with strong safeguards.
- Establish a Medicaid pathway to train and compensate eligible family caregivers providing in‑home support for their loved ones with IDD.
Please take 60 seconds: use our One‑Click tool to email your legislators, then share widely.
