Nadira Bryan

Nadira has worked in the Health and Human Service field for more than 30 years. At the start of her career, Nadira supervised Home Health Aides for a home care agency whose mission was to keep senior citizens living in their family home, as opposed to skilled care facilities.
Nadira transitioned in 2013 to working for a non-for-profit agency that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She started as a Liaison working to support individuals and their families. Nadira is a strong proponent of personal outcome measures and has applied this while in the roles of Associate Director of Residential Services and Director of Community Outreach. Throughout the years, Nadira has gained deep connections with the people she supports and their circle of support.
Megan Porter

Megan has worked in the human services field for the past 10 years. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and began her career as a Direct Support Professional, where she supported people with I/DD in a residential setting. Since that time, she has gained a wealth of knowledge working in various roles including as a residential manager, Medicaid Service Coordinator, MSC Supervisor, and waiver program admissions specialist. Megan also has experience with administration of EMODs, Family Reimbursement, and the OPWDD Housing Subsidy.
Megan started with ACA/NY in July 2019 as an Eligibility Coordinator who supported the Care Management & Admissions departments with navigating Medicaid and other benefit programs. Prior to her current role, she worked with the Member Relations team as the Assistant Director for Provider Relations. She lives on Long Island with her family, dog, and two cats.
Angie Munroe

Angie has worked in the Human Services field for over 30 years. She began right after college, as a volunteer in Cardiff, Wales, advocating for people with disabilities as they transitioned from institutional care to care in their local communities. Once back on Long Island, she assisted individuals to identify and achieve desired life outcomes, while obtaining satisfaction with service providers and community resources, as a Medicaid Service Coordinator. For the last 21 years, Angie has worked for a Long Island not-for-profit, first as an Assistant Residential Director then was promoted to the Director of Residential Medical Services overseeing programs that support children and adults with I/DD and medical complexities requiring 24- hour nursing support. Angie is excited to begin her new role as Director of Provider Relations for Long Island where she’ll build partnerships with providers to better meet members’ needs.
Krystal Procida-Sapienza

Krystal has been working in the human services field for more than 12 years supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, Krystal has held various leadership and volunteer positions in Africa, India, China, Arizona/Mexico, and New Orleans. Krystal holds a bachelor’s in urban studies and will soon be completing her master’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, graduating in December 2022. Krystal began her career as a DSP providing Community, Day, and Residential Habilitation. Krystal then became a Medicaid Service Coordinator (MSC) and then transitioned to a Care Manager Supervisor. Following that, Krystal then began working as a Quality Assurance Coordinator for over two years. Krystal is now eager to support service providers as a Director of Provider Relations for the Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island Region. Krystal is looking forward to developing and enhancing relationships with ACANY’s many partners.
