According to Feeding America’s ‘Map the Meal Gap’ study released earlier this year, 1 in 10 people in New York face hunger and 1 in 7 are children. Thank you to the ACANY staff who helped to make a difference in our communities by donating in a month-long Food Drive at our office locations across Queens – Astoria, Hauppauge, Mt Vernon, Manhattan, Riverhead, Staten Island and other regions of New York. Together, our hub offices donated 200 lbs of non-perishable items to local food banks.
